The German branch of the Attac movement uses a red flag with their logo and the white inscriptions "attac" and "www.attac-netzwerk.de". The logo is a modified percentage sign (%), with globes instead of the circles. The upper globe shows the Earth from the North Pole, the lower globe from the South Pole; the continents are shown in pink. The globes connected by the "%" sign probably allude to the demand for the so-called
"Tobin Tax", a global tax on financial transactions, which is a central part of Attac programmatics.
